Sven has graduated from Astoria High School Class of 2025!
Sven is headed to Clatsop Community College to earn his degree in their Automotive Technician Program.
About Sven
Sven Nelson has graduated from Astoria High School, Class of 2025!
Sven attended Preschool at Peace Learning Center, Pre-K at Shooting Stars, and started Kindergarten in September of 2012 at Astor Elementary. He attended Lewis & Clark Elementary for Third through Fifth grade where he went on many field trips to the Maritime Museum and Ft. Clatsop.
In 6th grade, he moved to Astoria Middle School, and began playing the alto saxophone in the school band. Covid 19 lockdowns started during 7th grade and he attended online until Spring of 8th grade.
At Astoria High School, he found his love for cars and joined the Active Racing youth drag racing team. He started taking technical classes at Clatsop Community College his junior year in both automotive and welding. In April 2025, he will officially start full time at CCC to earn his degree in Automotive Tech. He will continue drag racing with Active Racing at the Woodburn Dragstrip for their 2025 season. After CCC, he's hoping to specialize in transmissions, especially those in Classic Cars.
